Strengthen Your Offer: Teardown + Rebuild
Score first, rebuild second, compare against the examples last. Be brutal on the scorecard. A flattering score today costs you another six months of "let me think about it."
Part 1: The offer teardown scorecard
Rate your CURRENT offer 1 to 5 on each dimension. 1 means the left column sounds like you. 5 means the right column does.
| # | Dimension | What a 1 looks like | What a 5 looks like |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Outcome specificity | "Get fit, feel better, gain confidence" | "Drop 15 lbs in 90 days" or "Deadlift bodyweight by month 6" |
| 2 | Time to first win | Nothing visible until week 8 | A felt result inside 14 days, engineered on purpose |
| 3 | Believability | Zero proof, or borrowed stock-photo energy | Named clients, numbers, timelines they can verify |
| 4 | Effort and sacrifice | 2 hours a day, 6 meals, weigh everything | Fits a 50-hour job: 3 sessions, simple food rules |
| 5 | Risk reversal | All risk on the buyer, pay and pray | A guarantee with teeth (see Part 2) |
| 6 | Urgency to act now | "Whenever you are ready" (so, never) | Real cap or real date, honestly enforced |
| 7 | Price-to-value gap | Price feels like a coin flip vs the promise | The stack makes the price feel like the obvious smaller number |
| 8 | Clarity of next step | "DM me to chat" into a 9-message maze | One button or one keyword, then a known 2-step path |
Part 2: The rebuild worksheet
Block 1: Value stack
Core vehicle (the program itself):
Speed amplifier (gets a result faster): Example: 14-day kickstart protocol.
Ease amplifier (removes friction): Example: done-for-you grocery lists, 20-minute home option.
Support amplifier (kills quitting): Example: weekly 1:1 check-in plus same-day DM access.
Rule: write every line as an outcome, not a feature. "Weekly check-ins" is a feature. "Never go more than 7 days off track" is an outcome.
Block 2: Pricing psychology
Anchor before you price. State the cost of the problem (another year stuck, money burned on apps and challenges) before the price ever appears.
Price the outcome, not your hours. Nobody pays for "8 check-ins a month." They pay to be the dad at the lake with the shirt off.
One offer, one price, max two pay options. Pay-in-full and one plan. A menu of five tiers is a decision tax that loses sales.
Raise with proof, not with hope. Every 5 to 10 closed clients, revisit price. Your case studies are the permission slip.
Block 3: Guarantee design (pick one)
| Type | What it says | Pick it when |
|---|---|---|
| Unconditional | "30 days, any reason, full refund." | You are newer and need to delete all buying risk fast. |
| Conditional (do-the-work) | "Follow the plan, check in weekly. No result, full refund." | Your system works when followed. Filters tourists, protects you. |
| Results-or-extension | "Hit [milestone] by [date] or I coach you free until you do." | You are confident and want a guarantee that doubles as a flex. |
Block 4: Offer naming
Formula: [Outcome] + [Timeframe] + [Mechanism or Identity]
Examples: "The 90-Day Waistline Reset" · "Deadlift Strong: The 6-Month Postnatal Rebuild" · "The Over-40 PR Project"
Avoid: clever puns, Latin, your own name, anything that needs explaining. If the name does not pre-sell the result, it is decoration.
Part 3: Three before/after offer rebuilds

After: "The 90-Day Waistline Reset. Drop 15+ lbs in 90 days with 3 short sessions a week and zero banned foods. Weekly 1:1 check-ins, done-for-you food rules, 14-day kickstart. Follow the plan and miss the result? Full refund. $997 or 3 x $367."
